Who's Behind this
Dunice Harrell-Bolden
Dunice Harrell-Bolden is a learning and development leader, speaker, and founder of The Inner Major. At AT&T, she managed university hires and built mentorship and leadership development programs for early-career professionals. She saw young adults arrive with degrees and a clear next step while still learning how to make intentional decisions about where they wanted to go next. That experience stayed with her.Her later work at Microsoft continued to center on learning and development, and today she writes and speaks about the parts of early adulthood we aren’t always prepared for, including identity, direction, decision-making, and the personal side of what comes next.Dunice is also the founder and executive director of EmpowerPix, a separate nonprofit serving Dallas-Fort Worth high school graduates through senior portraits, graduate recognition, and an alumni community with peers and mentors.The Inner Major grew from these experiences and a question she kept coming back to: how do we help young people prepare not only for the next step, but for the self-awareness and decision-making that come with building a life and career?

What happens with your email address.
The short version: The Inner Major collects one thing, uses it for one purpose, and lets you leave whenever you want. The longer version is below, in plain language rather than legal language.
Effective September 2026
What's collected
Your email address, and only when you type it into a form here yourself. Nothing else — no name, no school, no phone number, no age.If you write to [email protected], that message and address sit in an ordinary email inbox, the way any email you send anyone does.
What it's used for
Sending you the guide you asked for, and the letter twice a month. That's the whole list. You won't be added to anything you didn't ask for, and there's no separate marketing list running alongside.
Who else sees it
The email goes to MailerLite, the service that stores the list and sends the messages. They process it on The Inner Major's behalf and under their own privacy terms. Nobody else receives it.Your address is never sold, rented, traded, or handed to a school, a sponsor, or another organisation. Not as a list, not as a favour, not in aggregate.
Leaving
Every letter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you're off the list — no confirmation step, no "are you sure," no exit survey. You can also email and ask to be removed, including a request to delete the address entirely rather than just stop the sending.
Students under 18
Sessions are delivered in person, through schools, and no student information is collected in order to run one. The Inner Major doesn't ask for student names, contact details or written work, and doesn't keep records about individual students.The guide can be downloaded by anyone, including students. If you're under 18 and would rather not give an email address, ask a counselor or a parent — they can download it and pass it on. If a parent or guardian wants an address removed, email and it will be deleted.
Cookies and tracking
There are no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking cookies on this site. The host may set a cookie needed to serve the page itself, and MailerLite records whether a letter was opened so the list can be kept tidy. Nothing here follows you to other sites.
Changes to this page
If what happens with your email changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. Anything that would meaningfully change what you agreed to gets said in a letter, not quietly edited in here.
